Considering Diablo 3 is a greatly improved Diablo 2 and Torchlight is just a cheap knockoff, I'd say Diablo 3 is far, far better from both a consumer standpoint and a gameplay standpoint.
Yes, and Diablo 3 has been hacked, everyone who has played the game recently has had their account stolen, Diablo 3 does not have LAN, Diablo 3 does not have offline singleplayer and thus everything is limited to the servers that are being hacked.
